FGLair Wireless LAN Control
Setup, registration, operation and troubleshooting
For compatible Fujitsu air conditioners fitted with a WLAN adaptor
The FGLair app allows compatible Fujitsu air conditioners to be operated remotely through a Wi-Fi connection. Users can turn the system on or off, adjust temperature and operating mode, configure timers and schedules, and monitor unit status and error alerts.
Requirements: A compatible air conditioner with a WLAN adaptor, a supported wireless router, a compatible smartphone or tablet, and the FGLair app.
1. Preparing for setup
- Verify that the air conditioner has a WLAN adaptor installed.
- Ensure the wireless router supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, WPS or the required standard connection method.
- Install the FGLair mobile app on the smartphone or tablet.
- Have the air conditioner operating manual and LAN setup guide available.
2. Connecting the WLAN adaptor
For air conditioners with built-in Wi-Fi, the LED indicators and setup button are located on the front panel. External WLAN adaptors generally use the following controls:
| Item | Function |
|---|---|
| LED 1 - Green | Indicates network connection. |
| LED 2 - Orange | Indicates operation or configuration. |
| Setting button | Starts or resets setup mode. |
If setup is not completed within one hour, the WLAN adaptor may enter sleep mode and the LEDs will turn off. Press the Setting button once to wake the adaptor.
3. User registration
- Open the FGLair app and tap Create Account.
- Enter your email address, password and region.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Confirm your email by selecting the verification link.

| LED 2 flashing | Router power or connection error. | Confirm the router is powered and operating normally. |
| LED 1 flashing | Communication error with the air conditioner. | Contact qualified service personnel. |
| Both LEDs flashing | Adaptor fault. | Power cycle the air conditioner and reconfigure Wi-Fi. |
For app connection issues:
- Ensure the smartphone and air conditioner are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network during setup.
- Confirm the router has internet access.
- Re-enter the Wi-Fi credentials if setup fails.
9. Resetting Wi-Fi
- Press and hold the Setting button for 10 seconds.
- The LEDs will blink and then become steady, indicating the reset is complete.
- Reconfigure the Wi-Fi connection through the FGLair app.
10. Key tips
- The app and the physical remote controller operate independently. The latest command takes priority.
- Wi-Fi signal strength affects reliability. A Wi-Fi repeater may improve coverage.
- The air conditioner and router must remain powered for remote operation.
