2. Safety and wireless LAN precautions

  • Regularly confirm that the air conditioner power supply is secure and that the unit is operating normally.
  • Do not remotely operate the unit where infants, children, elderly people, sick people or anyone unable to regulate the temperature may be affected.
  • Do not use the WLAN function in aircraft, hospitals, near medical equipment or near equipment using high-precision control or weak signals.
  • The WLAN system uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band and may be affected by concrete, metal, microwave ovens, radio interference and distance from the router.
  • Only connect the product to networks you are authorised to use.
  • Unregister and initialise the WLAN adapter before disposal or transfer to another person.

3. Account and air conditioner setup

Create an account

1Install and open the FGLair mobile application.
2Select Create Account.
3Enter the requested user information, email address and password, then accept the terms and conditions.
4Open the confirmation email and follow the link to complete account registration.
Account limitation: The manual states that one email address and password can be registered per WLAN adapter. Additional users must use the same registered account credentials.

Register the air conditioner

  1. Sign in to FGLair.
  2. From the Directory or Account screen, select the Plus (+) button or Add a Device.
  3. Follow the WLAN setting manual for your adapter to connect the air conditioner to the wireless router.

  • Available functions, screens and menu names may differ by air conditioner model and app version.
  • If wireless reception is poor, move the router closer, adjust its position or use a suitable wireless LAN repeater.
Before transferring ownership: Unregister the device from the FGLair app, initialise the WLAN adapter using its setting manual and delete the app account when it is no longer required. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete account information from the service.
