Overview

Indoor unit function settings can be configured directly through the UTY-RVNYN wired remote controller.
Refer to the Design & Technical Manual of the respective indoor unit model for detailed function codes and options.

Procedure

Step 1 – Access the “Service” Menu

  1. Press the [Menu] button twice while on the “Monitor” screen.

    • The screen will first change to the “Submenu” display.

  2. If the “Submenu” screen is already active, press [Menu] once more to return to the “Monitor” screen.

  3. Press and hold [Left] and [Right] screen switch buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

    • The display will switch from “Submenu” to “Service” mode.

Step 2 – Enter Function Setting Mode

  1. Using the [Up/Down Cursor] buttons, highlight “Function Setting”.

  2. Press the [Enter] button to confirm.

    • The Function Setting screen will be displayed.

Step 3 – Select Indoor Unit Address

  1. Use the [Up/Down Cursor] buttons to select the R.C. (Remote Controller) Address corresponding to the target indoor unit.

    • This ensures settings are applied to the correct connected unit.

Step 4 – Choose Function Number

  1. Use the [Left/Right Cursor] buttons to select the Function No. to be configured.

  2. Use the [Up/Down Cursor] buttons to scroll through available function numbers.

    • Example: Function No. 400 (refer to system-specific tables for each setting code).

Step 5 – Adjust Setting Number

  1. Use the [Left/Right Cursor] buttons to move to the Setting No. column.

  2. Use the [Up/Down Cursor] buttons to select the desired Setting Value.

  3. Press the [Enter] button to save the configuration.

Notes

  • Always confirm that the correct R.C. Address is displayed before applying settings.

  • The controller will automatically store configuration data once entered.

  • Refer to the Design & Technical Manual for available Function Numbers and Setting Values applicable to each indoor model.
